My name is Max Lester. I am a film and television student at DePaul University in Chicago. I am originally from Lancaster Pennsylvania. I started out as a photographer, but as I delved more into video production, I realized that I liked creating videos more than photography. In my mind, videography and filmmaking allows for creativity on many more levels through editing, sound design, lighting and directing. In the past few years I have grown in my filmmaking and photography abilities, and I have had the opportunity to work with music artists and local Lancaster brands on various projects that were both photo and video based. This has given me a well-rounded skill set which spans from editing photos in Photoshop or Lightroom, to shooting on location, working with actors or models, thinking of creative solutions to problems on set, and shooting as well as editing video in Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve.
